Minimum Margins

Appropriate margins provide "Whitespace" between contextual elements, aiding in the easier perception of information. Appropriate margins also offer visual balance to the design, which enhances the overall aesthetic quality of the layout.

How to Calculate Minimum Margin

  1. The diagonal length of the document is D.

  1. Set the minimum margin(H) to 3% of the D length.

Margins can be adjusted inward from the minimum margin or extended further, depending on the canvas size and design intent. The minimum margin represents the baseline standard for these margins. The purpose of the minimum margin guideline is to maintain appropriate spacing between elements, ensuring visual consistency and readability. By adjusting the margins according to the design's purpose and context, the overall harmony and functionality of the layout can be optimized.

Grid system

The 12-column grid system is a widely used framework in both web design and print media design.

The 12-column grid allows for systematic placement of design elements, providing consistency and harmony to the overall layout. This enhances the user experience and contributes to strengthening the brand image. The 12-column structure offers high flexibility, accommodating various screen sizes and resolutions. It allows columns to be merged or split as needed, making it easy to create diverse layouts.

Basic Grid (1:1.414 / 1:1 / 16:9)

Gutterless Grid (1:1.414 / 1:1 / 16:9)

The 12-column structure provides high flexibility to respond to various screen sizes and resolutions, allowing you to easily create various layouts by merging or splitting columns as needed.
